risk involved in the software part of the design and building a geostationary satellite?
I need detailed explanation on the risks involved in the software part of the design and building a geostationary satellite
I need detailed explanation or related likns wherein i can find what are all the risks involved
See, every construction has risk in it own.
geostationary sattelite is a big one so naturally it would have risks involved in its design.
The observation should be perfect.
Do you know any designing website that I can design my own house or girl/boy?
A website where you can design a house and have your own girl/boy. Like millsberry. I already have a millsberry but I want to know if there is any other websites similar to it.
Virtualy Magic Kingdom is a game that is enjoyed by a lot of Millsberry fans.
Is there a digital equivalent for a Perspective Control Lens. I plan to upgrade to a DSLR.?
Nikon has discontinued their manual control PC Lens. I am into architectural photography and the only other correction is CS2 (that I know of) I am looking for a digital equivalent of a Perspective Control Wide-Angle Lens that doesn’t distort buildings when you have to take shots of them close up. I will be working with a Nikon D50 (when I upgrade to DSLR later this year); I currently work with a Nikon E2200 Point & Shoot.
Is the lens that was discontinued the Nikon 85mm f/2.8 PC Micro-Nikkor ?
If so, you may check out some Tilt shift lenses by Russian brands (in Nikon mounts).
For instance the Hartblei Super-Rotator 80mm f/2.8 MC. It apparently also exists in 65mm.
These would be quite narrow on a DSLR, though.
To me, the ideal lens for architecture would be the Canon 24mm TSE on a full frame camera, but it would mean shelling out $4500.
What is the best home design website?
I’m looking to a little touchup/remodeling around home, and need ideas. Besides buying magazines, what are some websites I can go to for ideas, and tips?
HGTV and DIY Network (already mentioned) have literally thousands and thousands of tips, ideas, you name it. HGTV’s site has a gazillion pictures, and a section called "Rate My Space" which features rooms designed, remodeled, decorated by viewers and site-users.

Im thinking about a career architectural drafting what do i need??
so im an ok student i’ve only failed 1 class ever so far in high school. and i’ve never taken any honors classes or ap classes. and im ok at math and i do good in everything else. and this year (my junior year in high school) im taking an AP class and 2 maths. and i bet my GPA is probally a high c or a low b. and i heard that Geogia Tech was a good architectual/drafting and whatnot school to get into. but what if i dont get accepted?? what other colleges could i go too? And i know that sounds kind of lazy and honestly its not i just havent got around to scouting colleges yet, AND one of my buddies said that every college is looking for people who take like 5 AP classes a year! and im not saying im dumb but thats just a little too much for me. I mean im just afraid i’ll do "ok" in high school and get into a crappy college like ITT Tech or sumthing and then ill be like broke and homeless and wont ever make any money!! So anyone got any guide lines as far as what i should do?
I attended ITT Tech almost 3 years ago. I got my first drafting job one year into the program with a residential design firm. I worked for this firm for one year and took another job with an architectural firm. I recently bought a house, a new truck and now I am doing work as a subcontractor draftsman remodeling high end custom homes. I do most of my work from the comfort of my home and make a good living thanks to this non profit, non accredited expensive school. So hah!! We are not all loser homelesses who dont make any money. I would also challenge any other drafter who dares to go against me including Georgia Tech!! My point is, do not listen to all the stories you here about ITT Tech, the people who always complain are the people who dont belong in any education system because they cannot handle the pressure and they blame the school.
What degree do i go for if im going to college for architectural engineering?
No no no….not the B.Arch. You go after the B.Arch. degree if you want to become an Architect. If you want to go into Arch. Engineering you will want to study Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering. Once finished with the undergraduate degree, the ArchE. graduate would then sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE). After that you are to work under a licensed civil or structural engineer for roughly 4 years, then you will be able to sit for the Principles and Practices Exam (PE). If the Arch. Engineer would like to have structural engineer authority, they would have to work about 3 more years under a licensed structural engineer and take the structural 1 & 2 exams.
As for the job itself, the Arch. Engineer is well versed in many different engineering disciplines such as structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing. Now civil and structural guys are equally competent in those fields, so what separates the Arch. Engineer from the other two is that the Arch. Engineer’s goal is to keep the building not only structurally sound, but also aesthetically pleasing as is the goal of the Architect and fully functional with plenty of flow which will be the requirement of the owner. Also, one last piece of information, Architectural engineers are not entitled to practice architecture unless they are also licensed as architects. Hope this helps! Good luck!

how do i get a job at an architectural firm?
i have no experience and no education in this feild at all but i would like to work at a firm to start learning things for when i DO begin going to college. i wouldn’t mind getting paid little or nothing i just want to be in the environment. also should i have some sort of portfolio or somthing?
If you are interested in the field and want to go to college for it one of the things you can do is go to the college and ask someone in the department about internships. Companies usually offer internships to schools close to them or because they are alumni at the school. Another thing you could look at is the American Architectual Association. They offer student memberships and classes on various topics of the trade. Do a search on-line and you will find some info
What are some of the major architectural landmarks in the Southeast?
I am down in the south, mostly in Georgia, and wanted to visit some really great architectural landmarks. What are some of the best places to go? I will be visiting Savannah, GA sometime – and I know it’s rich with history.
If you walk around the squares in Savannah, you’ll find a plethora of historical buildings. A tour guide will be able to point out the significance of some buildings. I found the cemetery in town, where Button Gwinnett is buried, to be particularly interesting. Seems like George Washington paid $200 — a fortune at the time! — to have a wall erected around the cemetery. (Some of the wall is still standing.)
