I am an architect living in Africa. I became architect and urban planner after I studied architecture and urban planning at university in architecture and urban planning. These days, architecture and urban planning disciplines are being given distinctively, and may be it will be difficult to become both architect and urban planner at one go. Any ways, if you join just architecture department you will become designer, and if you join urban planning department you will become planner. To be both, you have to join architecture and urban planning department. * These fields are so close that you can get you bsc. in one and msc. in the other. Good luck
References :
Hello,

(ANS) I'm NOT taking the mickey here but in my sincere opinion the fastest way to clarify this question is to contact Coventry University directly. See if you can get the switchboard to put you through to the actual Architecture department and take it from there.

**IMO its unlikely anyone here on YA will be able to give you the specific answers you need in order to make those kinds of decisions.

Good luck, best regards from Ivan.
