How many years in college would I have to complete to have a chance in entering these firms?
i’m going to be starting my junior year in my architectural studies program. in the US, there are two types of architecture programs: the first is a 5-year accredited bachelor of architecture, the second is a 4-year bachelor of architecture + 2-year accredited master of architecture. the accreditation means the curriculum was approved by the NAAB (national architecture accrediting board). first you want to get into a school that offers one of these two options. second, make sure the school has a good architecture program. third plan on spending no less than 5 years at a university. ‘prestigious’ architectural firms hire people with good GPA’s, kick-butt portfolios, and internship experience. if you have more questions email me.
