How to get architectural ideas for exterior design?? I’m a 3D artist but right now I’m completely out of the ideas. And I can’t find any idea in my head.
call the Yale School of Architecture and ask for Eucaleh Terrapin or Nathan Coppedge’s Eridianisme; I gave them free materials in packets some weeks ago, tell them to call (203) 285-4102 if they have questions or need references,
my websites are nathancoppedge.com (non-pseudonymous), and impossiblemachine.com; I have blogs at motism.blogspot.com, and 360.yahoo.com/drypress
otherwise e-mail me at terrapin@impossiblemachine.com and I’ll e-mail you a jpg with some very interesting characteristics (its what you would get from them approximately if they preserved the materials)
its based on feng shui, hyperdimensions, and philosophy, rather astounding,
I’d like to discuss ideas too if you want a temporary e-mail contact for consulting,
there may be a website up in a few years called "jengaarchitecture.com", assuming I have a little free cash to fund it, only requires 30 or 60 dollars a month, mostly constant regardless of commercial income

Here are a few things that come to mind.
Structures from the past. Including structures you might not consider at first, such as aqueducts, outdoor stages etc.
Current structures from all different cultures. Religious and political structures seem to be the most fascinating.
The natural world. This seems to be something that is becoming popular again. Frank Loyd Wright. Cliffs, Trees Waterfalls, Plains, Canyons, Mountains, Plants, Mushrooms just about anything.
Man made items. TVs, Roads, Chairs, Circuit boards, The crazy junk houses crazy people put together with the junk they find.
I guess it just depends on what you are designing. Where it is going. Who it is for. These things tend to push design toward the look of everything else out there.
Good luck.
