What architectural style is egg and dart?

I know that egg and dart moulding, etc., is greek, but I think my house may be tudor or victorian. Just wondering which architectural style used egg and dart mouldings.

Egg and dart can be found in Victorian architecture as well as the revival styles that added more ornamentation. Here’s a link to various architectural styles:

I don’t think you can use any egg and dart molding to determine the style of your house. It has been used for ever as a decorative style. Read the two references below specially the references to classic architecture.
